About Us
We are Mike and Molly Scanlan of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Mike is originally
from upstate New York, and I'm from Atlanta. We met serendipitously at a
summer class at William Holland Lapidary School in north Georgia in 1999, he
took faceting and I took silversmithing. We married a year and a half later.
Since then we have built a small business combining our skills. Mike has become
an expert faceter, and I enjoy creating freeform cabs and jewelry in silver, copper
and Precious Metal Clay. Every vacation is taken with rockhounding in mind!
This past June I was fortunate enough to grab a PMC certification class
taught by Tim McCreight! Here I am with Tim on the last day of class, and
YAY!! I got my PMC certification.
