| These quartz rings were designed and hand made in Brazil by talented artisans. All gemstones below are from the Minas Gerais area. Each of these rings is stamped 950, which simply means the silver content is 95%, rather than the 92.5% silver content we are accustomed to in the United States. |
Designer Quartz Lodolite Ring
Another beautifully made ring with quartz that has some
intriguing inclusions clearly visible in the stone. This quartz
is also called 'landscape' or 'garden quartz' because of its
bouquet of colors. Partially faceted. Split shank with
flower design, about a size 7-1/2. Stamped 950.

Designer Rutilated Quartz Ring
This fabulous material is a new find of rare rutilated
quartz called 'red fachado rutile' from the famous Minas
Gerais area of Brazil. Very large stone, partly bevelled,
partly faceted with shiny golden metallic rutile needles all
running the same direction! Heavy silver setting, about a
size 6-1/4. Stamped 950.

quartz crystal that formed completely inside the stone
before the surrounding quartz solidified. Also, note
the silvery rutile (looks a bit like a daddy longlegs).
